Position: Electrical Estimator

Location: Raynham, MA (Brand new office!)

Compensation: $80,000 to $150,000 per year DOE.  A full benefits package is included.

Job Responsibilities: As an Electrical Estimator, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Creating accurate and complete quantity take-offs from scratch for commercial and industrial jobs of all sizes, in a timely manner
• Inputting take-offs into an estimating format
• Collaborating with in-house engineering to develop plans and estimates for Design Build/Design Assist projects
• Drafting bid proposals for projects
• Monitoring competitor activities to maintain a proactive approach to future estimates
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current material and subcontractor pricing to ensure profitability and competitiveness
• Attending meetings with customers and Project Managers to discuss project details and expectations
• Negotiating with customers for the award of projects
• Providing upper management with reports on bids won/lost
• Meeting productivity goals for bids produced, bids won, and maintaining a minimal margin of error

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with a range of experience levels, from senior estimators to those with little to no estimating experience. Key qualifications include:

• A strong electrical background and thorough knowledge of electrical systems, ideally with 5+ years of experience
• Tech-savviness and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and processes (Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, ConEst)
• Determination, intelligence, and a proactive attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow in the field of estimating, if not already experienced
